The bookmatched top and back sandwich a cedar or BC Fir core in which tone chambers are carved. The single P-90 pick-up is fitted in the oval soundhole of this instrument, giving it an even bassier tone.

The hard maple neck is adjusted into a tight neck pocket and is anchored via four metal inserts and corresponding fasteners to ensure a perfect fit.
